Getting Your Home Ready For Christmas

Nobody panic… but we’ve got just under a month till Christmas! Now is the time to start seriously preparing your home for the big day, luckily for you, we’ve made a list of the essentials you’ll need to keep everyone happy up until it’s 2016!

Get cozy in the living room

The tree is up and the lights are glowing, so what more can you do to make your home feel extra festive? Hang up a Peggy Wilkins Christmas Stocking (£4.99) around the fireplace or on the children’s doors to get them super excited for what might be in them on Christmas morning once Father Christmas has been. They come in 5 adorable designs, from a jolly snowman to the big man himself! Get one of our Wax Lyrical Christmas Reed Diffusers (£9.99) on the go and you’ve got yourself a Christmassy wonderland right in your lounge!

Prepping the kitchen

That’s right, sooner or later you’ll be roped into the kitchen to peel, chop, boil, roast and… can we even dare say it? Wash up! So you’re going to want the right equipment to get those Christmas cakes a-bakin’ to impress the guests. Create a super snowman cake with Eddingtons Snowman Cake Tin (£3.99) and give your Christmas cupcakes an extra touch of festive cheer using the Partridge & Pear Cupcake Cases and Toppers Kit (£4.99). Once the cooking is all over, it’s time to employ some Christmas elves to get to the sink and start scrubbing. They needn’t panic, however, as they’ll have Rudolph helping them out with the Eddingtons Vigar Dishbrush (£5.99)!

Getting the table set

Create a show stopping festive table for your Christmas dinners and Boxing Day feasts. Peggy Wilkins Sparkly Snowflakes Tablecloth (£12.00) will bring the Christmas cheer to your table, whilst Peggy Wilkins Forest Fruit Table Centrepiece (£12.99) will make the whole arrangement stand out with its design of holly, berries and pinecones. Bound to impress for the main event!

The Guests are coming!

It’s inevitable that you’ll probably have some visitors around Christmas and it’s probably also inevitable that they might have a bit too much to drink or flop down on the sofa after overeating. So why not set up a spare bed for them to stay in so at least they can be comfortable nursing a sore head or food baby? The Catherine Lansfield Grampian Stag Duvet Covet (£20.99) comes in either navy blue or mulberry red, sure to get your guests excited to snuggle up. Pop a Colony Hollyberry Home Scenter (£1.99) in with them to maximise those Christmassy feelings and leave your guests feeling comfy and cosy for their stay.

Oh, and don’t forget to stock up on the loo roll!
